These are some commonly known garden tips which everyone should know but many don't. Since I have many people ask what they can use organic to keep deer from eating their corn,I thought I would share what works for me.

Tips on how to keep pests including rabbits and deer out of your garden.

Here are a few simple, low cost ways to keep the bunnies, coons, and deer from eating your vegetables and out of your garden.
Plant marigold seeds and established marigold flowers completely around the boarder of your vegetable garden spacing them about 3 to 4 inches apart. You see most animals can not stand the smell which marigold flowers give off.
I have tried this and it works great.
Another tip is to hang tin pie pans on fence posts of the four corners of your vegetable garden, strawberry patch, and hang them from your fruit trees. For the sound of the pie tin blowing in the wind keeps birds away from your fruit and deer away from your corn.
Sure a properly placed fence if tall enough will keep the deer at bay but not bunnies so you'll need to use the marigolds to ward off these critters away from your lettuce, cabbage , carrots and other vegetables.
Keep on the look out for more garden and landscaping tips coming your way soon.
