Do you know anything about a peregrine falcon? Have you ever heard of one? In this writing, I will tell you as much as I know about peregrine falcons from research.

Peregrine falcons why it is a bird of prey?

If a bird is called a raptor that means it is a bird of prey like a peregrine falcon, The name of the peregrine falcons peregrines a Latin term for "to wander".

The peregrine falcon is the fastest bird as it can dive for food at two hundred miles per hour. They usually go after bats, songbirds and ducks. Since they can adapt to cities in the city, they do their two hundred miles per hour dive to get starlings and pigeons.

Peregrines in a big city

Peregrine falcons can live in cities, and they build a nest on a ledge of a tall building. One peregrine falcon couple out of the United States and Canada with its 1.650 pairs that, mate and breed. Once a male and female get together they stay together for the rest of their lives. But in the United States in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the big city part for many years the same peregrine falcon couple has come to the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning for many years now. They come, and she her normal peregrine falcon's gestation of twenty-nine to thirty-two days then has the normal peregrine falcons three to four eggs. The male helps the female incubate the eggs for one month. The peregrine chicks we are also called by scientists eyes. In the first six days the chicks eat so much they double their weight and in 21 days they are compared to the size of their birth ten times bigger. The chicks fly at 42 days They can do that on their own. But they depend on learn how to hunt with mom and dad.

Nests and what are the features of a peregrine adult falcon

The male and female get together when the male does flying air tricks for a month. Then like I said they stay together forever. And they live a long time being the fastest bird there is they don't get eaten too often if ever. They are ferocious when protecting their nest when it has chicks in it. They usually have to protect their nest when they build the nest in the wild In a cave on a cliff. Very easy for something to eat the chicks early when they can't fly because yet.
You can tell the looks of a what an adult peregrine falcon looks when you see a back that is a dark brown. The underside is buff colored and has brown spots on the bottom. The wings are a gray blue color. Their faces are a white color with a black stripe on his cheeks.. Their talons are very powerful, and they have a curved beak.

The difference between the Eagle and the falcon are their heads. Their characteristics are very similar although an eagle is the carrier of prayers to the heavens.
