Go grab yourself some coffee and join me in my little venting ... You ever have one of them days when everything is going wrong? Can't get anything to go right? Why does everything have to be such a struggle or a battle? Can't anything now and then go right or relatively easy?

Here's the topic of my chronicle this morning.

Good morning everybody ...

You ever have one of them days when everything is going wrong? Can't get anything to go right? Why does everything have to be such a struggle or a battle? Can't anything now and then go right or relatively easy? I, for one, am not too too fussy. I ask for just once in a while so I don't lose faith.

<sigh>

Here's the topic of my chronicle this morning. Go grab yourself some coffee and join me in my venting ... <ahremm> I mean join me ... lol

Who's to blame for all our troubles?

God? The government, the economy, your boss, your spouse, your neighbors, your children, your parents, your employees, the mayor, big business?

Take my country Venezuela, for instance, who suffer from lack of medicine, basic needs in some parts of the country, like basic food, shampoo, soap, sanitary basics, ... water ... etc. Who's to blame?

Is it depressing? Discouraging?

Some things are out of our control. Blaming God or everybody else you can think of isn't going to change the situation. I am going to to share one of my funniest expression and I believe I've actually used it once or twice here. It goes like this: the problem with the world is that it's full of people. lol

God doesn't control what people say or do. Even if he would I doubt he'd be telling people to do bad and/or harmful things to others. People do bad and harmful things and sometimes intentionally. The rest of the time it's point blank imperfection. We all fall short. Sometimes no matter how good our intentions are, what does good for one hurts another and unfortunately, that can't be help.

Ok, so we blame whoever. Fact is ...

aside from not solving the problem, it only makes you feel better about the past but ... so what? What does it matter that you feel good about the past?

You know what matters?

What matters is what is going on today. How do you feel about today? Are you going to sit there and blow smoke up your butt again? Or .... are you going to stand up and make some adjustments to simplify or help your situation?

While you're busy blaming everybody, you fail to take certain things into consideration.

If you can't keep up with the Joneses ...

it's not the economy or your boss or business's fault. Why are YOU trying to keep up with the Jones'? Is it your neighbors fault you can't keep up with them? Stop kidding yourself. You know what your situation is and you also know your economic situation better than anyone so how about living within your means.

Problems like ...

what's going on in my beautiful country and all these diseases that incapacitates and kill are sad but let's face it, we are experiencing the side effects of imperfect people's choices.

Pollution and all are destroying our environment but they are the price we pay for technology, research, the new and improved, and for faster travel. I enjoy traveling and I definitely need a plane to go home but it comes with a price. And I don't mean just money.

Ok ... here's another point to take into account

Every time you point a finger at somebody you have 3 pointing back at you. Most of our situations or issues can be attended to by a little readjustment or reevaluation on our part. You play the hand you're given as best you can.

Yea, I still wish things were easier once in a while. I get tired of fighting and struggling for everything but maybe if instead of blaming I left it in good faith things would work out for the best. Not saying sit around and wait. Come on ... nothing just drops on your lap. You still have to get off your buttocks and help yourself.

Just saying ....

In the famous words of Billy Ocean ... When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going

enjoy the little boost as you finish your coffee

Well friends ... time to get going. I wish you all a great day. Be good to one another and don't take your freedom for granted because it's not a given for everyone to do so.

So Ladies and Gentlemen ... you ready? You know the drill ...

SMILE! .... you're on life's candid camera!
